Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of etfsift.com and its ETF research, comparison, account, AI, and subscription features (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service and Plans
ETFSift provides educational ETF data, research articles, comparison tables, risk metrics, and automated summaries. The Service includes a limited free plan and optional paid monthly or yearly plans. Current prices, included usage, and plan features are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout. Paid access expands Service limits and features; it does not provide brokerage execution, portfolio management, fiduciary services, or personalized financial advice. We may update, add, or remove features, but material subscription changes will be described on the Service or communicated where required.
3. Accounts and Security
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless prohibited by law. We may require email verification or anti-abuse checks and may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or other users.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
Paid subscriptions are processed by Waffo Pancake or our legacy provider Creem. By starting a monthly or yearly subscription, you authorize the payment provider to charge the price and any applicable taxes shown at checkout. Recurring subscriptions renew for the selected billing period until canceled. You can cancel through the ETFSift account page or the payment-provider customer portal. Unless checkout terms or applicable law state otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and paid access continues until the end of the current paid period. Cancellation does not automatically create a refund for the current period. Refund eligibility is determined by applicable law and the terms presented at checkout. If you believe a charge is incorrect or a paid feature was not delivered, contact tanaher88@gmail.com with the account email and transaction details so the request can be reviewed.
5. Educational Information — Not Financial Advice
ETFSift does not provide personalized investment, financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. We are not acting as a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, fiduciary, or tax professional. ETF data, rankings, comparisons, risk statistics, articles, models, and AI-generated text are general educational information only. The Service does not know your complete financial situation, objectives, tax status, time horizon, or risk tolerance. You are responsible for your decisions and should verify material information with the fund issuer and consult qualified professionals when appropriate. Past performance does not predict future results.
6. Data and AI Limitations
ETF prices, returns, holdings, distributions, fund size, and other data may come from issuers and third-party providers. Data can be delayed, incomplete, revised, or inaccurate. AI-generated analysis may contain errors, omissions, inconsistent wording, or outdated information. Models and examples rely on stated assumptions and are not forecasts. Always review the date, methodology, limitations, and primary sources shown on a page before relying on a calculation.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to violate law or third-party rights; gain unauthorized access; interfere with security or infrastructure; submit malicious code; evade usage or subscription limits; create excessive automated requests; scrape or redistribute content in violation of applicable rights; impersonate another person; or misrepresent ETFSift content as professional or personalized financial advice. Reasonable search-engine crawling and ordinary linking are not prohibited by this section.
8. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Materials
ETFSift's original articles, calculations, interface, branding, and editorial presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Fund names, ticker symbols, issuer materials, market data, trademarks, and third-party services belong to their respective owners and may be subject to separate terms. A link or reference does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third parties for market data, hosting, authentication, email, AI generation, analytics, consent management, security, checkout, and subscriptions. We are not responsible for third-party availability or independent practices. Your use of Waffo Pancake, Creem, and other third-party interfaces may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies.
10. Availability, Changes, and Termination
We may maintain, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may restrict or terminate an account that violates these Terms, creates security or legal risk, abuses the Service, or fails to pay applicable fees. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." ETFSift disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ETFSift and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or investment-related losses arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid to ETFSift during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
13. Changes, Applicable Law, and Contact
We may update these Terms and will post the revised date above. Material changes apply prospectively where required. These Terms are governed by laws applicable to the Service operator, subject to mandatory consumer and data-protection rights in your jurisdiction. Before starting formal proceedings, the parties should attempt good-faith resolution where appropriate.
